This 2004 edition updates the second edition (1994). It includes the textual revisions from the 1994 edition and the use of inclusive language in order to update the version's first edition. Sometimes known as the TEV (Today's English Version) the GNB is the work of an international committee of scholars using the best available manuscripts.
